GradFest: A Celebration of Graduate Student Research

The Department's annual Graduate Research Symposium, also known as The ESPM GradFest Symposium, celebrates and showcases graduate student research. This year's day-long GradFest took place on Friday May 3, at the David Brower Center and included finishing talks from graduating PhD students. Talks ranged in topics from social justice to floodplain restoration to urban forests, with keynote speaker Malik Yakini attracting a large audience for his talk on food sovereignty and advocacy.
