My research interests include Parasitology, Marine Biology, Ecology and Biological Control. At UC Berkeley I utilized my first summer studying the consumption rates on the invasive lettuce aphid, Nasonovia ribisnigri, by four syrphid larvae commonly found in Hollister, Ca. Currently I am researching the Light Brown Apple Moth (LBAM), an invasive moth from Australia in California. My 2nd and 3rd summer, I studied the tritrophic interactions among the host plants, LBAM, and LBAM's parasitoid wasps. Currently I am investigating competition and behavior of an Australian parasitoid, Goniozus jacintae on its host (LBAM); in addition to physiological consequences of parasitism and superparasitism.
