Research Description

I manage a long-term, large-scale, biodiversity monitoring project for the California Department of Fish and Game (birds, mammals, plants) .

My current research includes:

  1. Species- and community-level modeling of biodiversity monitoring data in order to provide trend information and linkages to climate and land use stressors for informing conservation planning.
  2.  Investigation of biogeographical and phenological variation in the songs of hermit warbler and black-throated gray warbler.
  3. Use of automated survey devices for monitoring wildlife
