Pencils to Pixels: Lessons Learned from Blending Tradition and Tech for Agriculture
As Agriculture Industry Manager, Susana Crespo leads Esri’s outreach and strategic development of innovative spatial solutions for the Agriculture industry. Prior to joining Esri, Susana was a member of the HarvestChoice team at CGIAR center – IFPRI (International Food Policy Research Institute) where she was responsible for mapping and modeling agricultural production, specifically in Sub Saharan Africa. Susana received her Master’s in International Development and Social Change from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts where she focused her research on food security and the use of remote sensing for agriculture.
She maintains an active twitter feed on all things agriculture and mapping. ESPM is very excited for her to be this year’s Keynote Speaker for the Graduate Research Symposium.
