When talking about societies and cooperation in nature, we think about ants, bees, and wasps. But sociality is more widespread across the natural world than one would think. For example, the parasitic flatworms, or trematodes; one of the weirdest societies out there.

Episode 2 of WONDERER: portraits of graduate students features Brian Whyte, a PhD student in ESPM. WONDERER is a video series initiated by graduate students aiming to showcase the diverse research conducted by the fellow graduate students in ESPM and beyond.
