Congratulations to Professor George Oster, 2014 recipient of the the Sackler Prize in Biophysics! Established through the generosity of Dr. Raymond and Mrs. Beverly Sackler, the award is administered by Tel Aviv University. Professor Oster was awarded the prize for his discovery of physical principles behind intracellular force generation in cell motility, morphogenesis and biological pattern formation.
