I manage a long-term, large-scale, biodiversity monitoring project for the California Department of Fish and Game (birds, mammals, plants) .
My current research includes:
- Species- and community-level modeling of biodiversity monitoring data in order to provide trend information and linkages to climate and land use stressors for informing conservation planning.
- Investigation of biogeographical and phenological variation in the songs of hermit warbler and black-throated gray warbler.
- Use of automated survey devices for monitoring wildlife
