I am an Assistant Cooperative Extension Specialist in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management at UC Berkeley focused on water justice policy and planning in California. My approach to research and extension employs mixed quantitative and qualitative methods and community-based research to tackle pressing questions related to the socio-political drivers of drinking water disparities leveraging a wide array of fields. I seek to advance our scholarly understanding of the causes of drinking water disparities, equity gaps in environmental policy implementation, and the role of social movements in addressing both, while also providing policy makers and advocates with information critical to advancing community-based solutions.
