My research at UC Berkeley centers on understanding coral reef ecology and microbial interactions to develop actionable solutions for conservation and adaptive management. Through interdisciplinary studies and collaborations, I aim to bridge science and policy by providing data-driven insights for ecosystem sustainability, advocating for innovative, function-based conservation frameworks that strengthen the resilience of marine resources and benefit both biodiversity and local communities.
