Research Description:
My group studies the effects of environmental change on wide-ranging wildlife and contributes to a variety of wildlife conservation efforts. We work with interdisciplinary scholars as well as agencies, non-profits, and private landowners to make sure we are asking the right questions and maintaining a focus on outcomes and solutions. From time to time, we also work with photographers, artists, storytellers, and media organizations to communicate about science and conservation to the public. Our work is motivated by a global need for science and conservation solutions that promote both ecological integrity and human wellbeing, especially in working landscapes. You can read more about our projects, study areas, publications, and lab members on the Middleton Lab website.
