Edoardo Scali

Title:
Graduate Student
Bio:

Edoardo Scali is a Ph.D. candidate at UC Berkeley and a Fulbright Scholar. His research integrates transcriptomics, comparative genomics, and phylogenetics to investigate molecular host–pathogen interactions in the Cypress Canker Disease pathosystem. He also applies molecular ecology and metabarcoding to study fungal community dynamics in forest ecosystems. His broader interests span forest pathology, fungal ecology, and computational biology.
