I’m a third year student pursuing a degree in Data Science with an emphasis in Economics. I grew up in Fresno, California where I developed my appreciation for environmental conservation and preserving the ecosystems that sustain our communities.
In my freetime, I enjoy baking, doing yoga, and traveling! Of all the places I’ve visited, Paris remains my favorite city of all time.
Supports graduate students in the Department and manages the day-to-day activities of ESPM graduate programs.
I am a Graduate Student Affairs Officer for ESPM. Prior to being a GSAO, I was an undergraduate academic advisor and scheduler in the Music Department at UC Berkeley. I also worked in academic personnel and undergraduate advising at UC Santa Barbara.
Outside of work, I enjoy visiting with family, hiking, spending time in Santa Cruz and Santa Barbara, and singing silly songs with my cat. (Bean likes to meow along!)
Jaz here! Fourth year undergrad who is majoring in Society and Environment with a minor in Journalism. My greatest passions in life are engaging with my local community and environment, advocating for environmental justice, and getting my hiking boots dirty. I grew up all over California, but truly consider the Bay Area my home. My current job tasks include administrative support, event planning, and managing digital content for ESPM's weekly graduate student newsletter.
Supports the Division of Organisms and Environment (O&E) and Society and Environment (S&E) with recruitments, reviews, leaves, and related functions for the following titles: Academic Coordinators, Adjunct Professors, CE Specialists, Lecturers, and Professors.
Manages the department budget Supervises the Department Assistant, Events Coordinator, and GSAOs Manages, plans, and administers all administrative operations of the department Resource for helping faculty understand and work through campus systems
